Winter in Merano is so much more than the delightful Christmas Market(running from the last week in November through 06th January) . In winter, Merano becomes winter wonderland with fabulous, near skiing areas and skating rinks!

is the local ski area, with the cable car only a 10 minutes drive. (40 km of pistes, 3,8 km of toboggan run, the new piste for snowboard and the numberless ski huts, wonderful snow walking trails).

The Thermal spa of Merano is in the center of Merano, and is only 3 minutes away by car. In winter are open 13 indoor pools - in two of them you swim outdoor and a big sauna area. You can order by us a lot of treatments. More see here.

The Meranarena has an indoor pool, and indoor and outdoor skating rinks, and is only 2 minutes away by car!
